Hold on to your hats, iPhone fans. A recent report by TrendForce suggests Apple might be taking their time with the foldable phone. Unlike some whispers of a 2026 launch, TrendForce says Apple's still tinkering, making sure everything folds perfectly and lasts as long as your favorite pair of jeans. This means we might have to wait until 2027 or later before Apple unveils their foldable dream machine.
So why the delay? Well, Apple's known for its top-notch quality and user experience. Foldable phones are still a new technology, and some current models have a bit of a wrinkle in the middle – literally! A crease appears where the screen folds, which isn't exactly ideal. With more and more companies jumping on the foldable train in 2023 and 2024, Samsung's grip is loosening, with their share dropping to around 50%.
