The buzz around ultra-thin smartphones was just starting to heat up, but now, a curveball: the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge launch has reportedly been postponed. This device, rumored to be the world's thinnest smartphone, was initially expected to join the Galaxy S25 series on April 15th.

According to a report from the respected South Korean news outlet ETNews, Samsung has pushed back the release date of the Galaxy S25 Edge. The primary reason cited is the recent leadership changes within Samsung's Device eXperience division, where TM Roh will now oversee the digital devices and appliances sector. An insider quoted in the report stated, "As the Galaxy S25 Edge's release schedule has been adjusted, the official launch is also likely to be delayed."

The revised timeline suggests Samsung will now introduce the Galaxy S25 Edge sometime between May and June. It's anticipated that the launch will consist of an official teaser video showcasing the device's specifications and pricing rather than a full-fledged launch event. This shift gains credibility from renowned tipster Ice Universe, who also shared news of the postponement, confirming the delay until May or June.

The Galaxy S25 Edge boasts a remarkably slim 5.8mm profile and will be available in three elegant colors: Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Icy Blue. Official images of the S25 Edge have already been released, providing a glimpse of its sleek design. Regarding pricing, reports indicate it will fall between the Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra. Specifically, a 256GB model is expected to retail for approximately KRW 1,500,000 in South Korea. This aligns with previous reports suggesting a European price range of €1,200-1,300 for the same storage configuration, placing it closer to the S25 Ultra's €1,470 launch price.
