Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 launched with revamped bigger screen and battery life

After a four-year-long wait, Samsung today finally released a successor of Galaxy Fit 2. The new fitness tracking band Galaxy Fit 3 has several changes from its predecessor and major revampment to its bigger screen and long-lasting battery lifetime.
Galaxy Fit 3 Design, Bigger Display and Longer Battery
The Galaxy Fit 3 comes with a sleek and lightweight aluminum body with an AMOLED 1.6-inch screen display that is 45% wider than its previous Galaxy Fit 2 model. The new fitness band watch comes with an IP68 rating against dust and a 5ATM rating for fresh water. It's equipped with the same design as the predecessor model and features a right-side button and the usual two pogo pins (a sad move for Samsung fans) for wired charging.

The new Fit 3 comes with over 100 watch faces and users are also able to set their own photos as the background. Due to its sleek and light structure, it is comfortable for everyday use. Samsung claims that its battery can last up to 13 days as it comes with a 208 mAh battery on a typical charge and is also capable of charging the battery to 65 percent in just 30 minutes.
Fall Detection, Emergency SOS and other Features
The newest Samsung fitness tracking band F3 can able to measure over 100 workout activities. The Galaxy Fit 3 has an Accelerometer, Barometer, Gyro Sensor, Optical Heart Rate Sensor, and Light sensor 一 has the capability of tracking sleep patterns even the snoring detection of a person. For snore measuring, the microphone of the connected device will be used. This band is also able to track steps, blood oxygen levels, heart rate monitoring, and stress levels. The Fit3 lacks GPS, so a paired device is required for better tracking of those features.

For the first time in this fitness band series, Samsung introduced Fall detection and Emergency SOS features which allow the person to contact their emergency contacts in emergencies. The person just needs to five press to right side button, so the location will be shared.
Besides these features it works as a controller for smartphone cameras and media and a wearable band with no weight and high interface, just simple mini apps, Calendar, Weather, World Clock, and sports tracking.
Availability and Price
The Galaxy Fit 3 comes in 3 colors – Gray, Pink Gold, and Silver, and is available globally starting today. Samsung will launch it first in this order ー Asia, Europe and Central Asia. Today, the Galaxy Fit 3 is launched and available in the Indian market with a price tag of INR 4499. While its global price has not been released yet. The US and Samsung's hometown of South Korea will get it later in the future.
