The new earbuds are equipped with a custom photoplethysmography sensor that shines an invisible infrared light near the eartips, pulsing 256 times per second to measure blood flow, as explained during the Apple event. This technology pushes the boundaries of in-ear headphones into the health and fitness fields. The AirPods Pro 3 can now be your fitness tracking partner, able to monitor over 50 different workouts when integrated with the Fitness tracking app, all while you're enjoying your favorite playlist.
A Better Fit and Longer Battery Life
