Samsung Galaxy Ring expected to launch in late July at next Unpacked Event

At Samsung's Unpacked event earlier this year, with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 flagship series, Samsung teased that it was creating a "powerful and accessible" health and wealth device, the company said the device is "Galaxy Ring". Now comes the news from the Horse's mouth, that the tech giant is going to launch it at the next Unpacked event which is expected in mid-July.

Although the company did not disclose any specifications and release date of Galaxy Ring at the February Unpacked Event. But now, the news comes from Samsung's home town Korea, the etnews(korean) reported that Samsung is willing to launch the Galaxy Ring for health purposes "We decided to launch the ring because we believe it is essential to complete digital health in a form factor that can be conveniently worn for a long time." as Samsung Electronics President Roh Tae said.

The Samsung Ring will reportedly come in 8 different sizes with features to track ECG, blood pressure measurement and sleep information. Along with health features, this ring will also support NFC payments and other contactless payments. It is currently in prototype production and has yet to begin full-scale mass production, but expected to begin in the second quarter of 2024.

Back in 2016, When we first see the Smart Ring developed by Oura, but now, big tech giants companies like Apple and Samsung comes to this market, so it seems that Ring trend will become popular and many other companies will definitely join this trend. Apple also accelerates the Apple Ring development  by registering more patents and recent patent was applied last November to (USTPO).

Today, Samsung Health is now officially announced that Galaxy Ring will make its first appearance in MWC event happens tomorrow.
