Meta-owned messaging app WhatsApp rolled out four new formatting shortcuts for the convenience of the user. From now users can easily make messages in more organized and formal ways. It is available for all Web, iOS, and Android users.
The CEO of Meta Mark Zuckerberg announced this exciting update through its official WhatsApp channel in these decent refreshing words, "Wave goodbye to long blocks of text in your chats and make things even clearer". This indicates the purpose of these formatting shortcuts is purely for the easiness of user readability and to highlight the important points.
We have been using Bold, Italic, Strikethrough, and Monospace for a while but newly introduced these four shortcuts Bulleted List, Numbered List, Block Quote, and Inline Code now join WhatsApp's formatting Club.

To use this Text Formatting you need to know these easy steps: For a Bulleted List you need to just add a hyphen(-) or asterisk(*) and space before each word or sentence. To add a Numbered List to the message, place a number, period(.), and space before each message. You can also add a Quote to the message by placing an angular bracket(>) and space before your text. For Inline code, Surround your code with backticks(`).
These features are rolled out all around the world for WhatsApp's iOS, Web, Mac, and Android. These Shortcuts are not only limited to Chats only, but the messaging company also expanded them to WhatsApp's Channels.
