Samsung Galaxy S24 receives official One UI 7 software update - What's new?
The One UI 7 update is live for the Korean Galaxy S24; other devices are slated for near-future release.
After a wave of anticipation and rumors, Samsung officially launched its latest user interface, One UI 7, for the flagship Galaxy S24 series. This update follows the initial unveiling of One UI 7 in January, which debuted on the Galaxy S25 series, showcasing the cutting-edge features Samsung has integrated.
The official rollout of One UI 7 for the Galaxy S24 series is now underway, as confirmed by Samsung. The update is being deployed in stages across various markets. Currently, South Korean users with firmware version S928NKSU4BYCG are among the first to experience the enhanced functionalities. Looking ahead, Samsung plans to extend the One UI 7 update to other devices, including the Z Flip 6 and Fold 6, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold5 and Flip5, Galaxy Tab S10 series, and Galaxy Tab S9 series. As Samsung announced the update release for April 7, these devices will receive the update soon.
One UI 7, initially showcased on the Galaxy S25 series, emphasizes AI integration to streamline daily tasks. Key features include a new navigation and brief bar on the lock screen, advanced audio and noise eraser tools for improved video editing, and notably, enhanced photo capturing with superior AI processing.
The update package is approximately 5.2 GB and includes the April security patch. For a smooth download and installation, a stable and fast internet connection is recommended. To check for the update, navigate to Settings > Software Update > Install. If the update is not yet available on your device, please be patient, as the rollout is gradual and worldwide.
