The anticipation for the next wave of sleek smartphones is building, and it appears the season of ultra-thin designs is about to commence. Samsung, a major player renowned for its innovation, seems poised to lead the charge with its rumored slimmest mobile yet, and a recent slip-up has only amplified the excitement. The South Korean tech giant has inadvertently revealed the price of the highly anticipated Galaxy S25 Edge in a premature listing, sparking intense curiosity ahead of its expected May launch.

Renowned tech journalist Roland Quandt of Winfuture shared a revealing post, highlighting that Samsung Canada seemingly made a mistake by briefly displaying the Galaxy S25 Edge price within the terms and conditions of a discount listing for the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus. This accidental price leak suggests that the cost of the slimmer S25 Edge will likely position it between the Galaxy S25 Plus and the premium S25 Ultra, aligning with earlier reports.

The prematurely released listing priced the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge 256GB variant at CAD 1678.99 and the 512GB model at CAD 1858.99. This converts to roughly USD $1210 for the base and USD $1340 for the higher-capacity version, suggesting a price point consistent with expectations for the Galaxy S25 Edge. Without direct competition in the slimmer smartphone category, it's challenging to definitively label this pricing as a hike or a bargain. However, the anticipated features suggest a balanced value proposition.

It's quite possible that this accidental price reveal could be a deliberate strategy by Samsung to generate buzz and highlight the Galaxy S25 Edge in the lead-up to its official unveiling. The appearance of the thinner S25 Edge with specific model numbers and details regarding color and storage options on a discount listing for the recently released Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 Plus FE adds an intriguing layer to this possibility. While it could be a calculated marketing move, human error within a large organization like Samsung cannot be entirely ruled out.

The listing also hinted at the Galaxy S25 Edge being available in two sophisticated color options: Jet Black Titanium and Silver Titanium. Beyond its sleek profile, Samsung has reportedly emphasized that this thinnest mobile will not compromise on durability.

As previously reported, the Galaxy S25 Edge release might experience a slight delay due to a strategic realignment within Samsung's leadership, with TM Roh now overseeing the digital devices and appliances sector. Current reports suggest that Samsung is aiming for a May 13 launch for the thinner and slimmer Galaxy S25 Edge, with a global rollout potentially commencing approximately two weeks later, following Samsung's established pattern. Pre-orders could potentially begin on the same day as the launch event.
