Hey Creators! Are you tired of worrying about copyright issues with background music on your YouTube videos? You're in luck! YouTube is currently testing an innovative AI music assistant that lets you generate unique, copyright-free background music that is absolutely free.
Earlier this week, YouTube released a demonstration video on their insider channel, showcasing this exciting new feature, aptly named 'Music Assistant.' Just like other chat-based applications, you can simply enter a prompt, and YouTube's AI will generate custom music tracks for your videos. Lauren, the company's video presenter, illustrated this with the prompt, "Give me uplifting and motivational music for a workout montage," and the AI delivered perfectly.

What's truly remarkable is the ease of use. You can preview the generated tracks, and once you're satisfied, download them directly. This means you can reuse these tracks across multiple videos, streamlining your content creation process. The demonstration revealed that the feature provides four track options, with a convenient download button located beside each one. Creators participating in the experimental program can access this feature via Creator Music (Beta) > Music Assistant > Create.
It's important to note that this feature is currently in its beta phase, being tested with a select group of users. YouTube has emphasized that this is an experimental program, and access is restricted to those participating. The company plans to gradually roll out this feature to the broader public as testing progresses. Alongside the AI music assistant, YouTube is also exploring a 'Subscribe+ ' button, designed to differentiate between standard subscribers and premium members. We will keep you updated on the official release of these features, so stay tuned for more information.
