Meta has announced a handful of new features that are rolling out to Channels, WhatsApp's one-to-many broadcast feature. Channels will now support voice messages and polls, as well as adding up to 15 additional admins. There's also an interface to share a Channel update as a personal status. As always, WABetainfo spotted these features weeks ago, but now they're officially on their way.
Mark Zuckerberg announced these updates through their official WhatsApp channel handle, with these "usual updates announcement" words, "We're announcing a bunch of new features for WA channels including voice notes, multiple admins and sharing to status and polls, which is great because I need help settling a debate".
These new bunch of new features will deliberately influence many channels to update their users with a variety of features like Voice Updates, and Share to Status. Thanks to Meta for rolling out these main and basic features of WhatsApp to channels. Alongside, Polls are also introduced which will promote users' opinions in a better and more organized way. "Multiple admins" feature allows up to 16 admins for information sharing more easily and efficiently.
