An exciting news, WhatsApp is reportedly making a new Audio Call bar feature to enhance the user experience. This new redesigned feature will let users easily multitask during voice calls. This feature is available to some users.

According to WABetaInfo, the Meta-owned messaging platform is rolling out this Audio Call bar 一 for voice calls to beta users. This new upcoming groundbreaking update seems to be designed to streamline call management for outgoing or ongoing calls. By giving the user more control over their voice calls, the overall WhatsApp experience could set to another level.

New WhatsApp Audio Call Bar vs Old Call Bar: What's Changed?

The new "Audio Call Bar" comes with a redesigned bar at the top of the screen. The giant messaging platform has finally decided to ditch its old-fashioned bar that only lets you see the duration of outgoing calls. The updated bar not only moves the position but also gives the user the functionality to end or mute a call without the need to reopen a normal WhatsApp main call interface. So, performing various tasks on the app and chatting out with your friends during a call soon seems to be true.

However, it is not clear whether WhatsApp will also bring changes to the main WhatsApp call interface or is it just for the audio call bar. So far, there is no evidence from the beta version that the social media giant's developers are working on redesigning the Call UI interface.

This new feature appeared in the beta version recently, so it might take several weeks or months for testing before comes to the stable version. For now, you can use this feature with the latest update to the beta version from the Google Play store. This new update when announced officially by WhatsApp then it will be clear whether it is coming for Android users only or both iOS and Android. Recently, Meta also introduced a new Meta AI for its all media platforms. Stay tuned for getting more information on this update.
